WHAT MAKES THERAPY WORK?
Really good therapy is about living and loving. It's all at once about affirming your humanity and uplifting your spirit. It's about finding both the medicine and magic in your story.
My purpose is to help clients and therapists create good relationships, so they can do the work that transforms, restores, delights, and ultimately changes the world.
Natasha's approach —
THERAPY IS AN ENDLESSLY CREATIVE ENDEAVOR, AND I USE THE ART OF STORYTELLING TO ENLIVEN THE IMAGINATION.
With a playful attitude, the language of emotion, and thoughtful questions - the most serious problems yield to optimism.
I offer systemic, process-focused supervision to many types of therapists regardless of background and training. I commonly work with therapists who are new to the field, and desire mentorship. Regardless of expertise, those who've lost their way, their spark, and seek new direction can benefit from supervision.
I provide depth-focused therapy for highly responsible & capable adults who are burned-out, emotionally drained, and unhappy. The relationship with my clients is built on trust, humor, curiosity, and authenticity. I see clients through the group practice I founded in 2021, Sweetgrass Therapy.
I teach at the Master's level at a local university, Wheaton College. I also supervise students who work with clients at the teaching clinic, Center For Family and Relational Health.
